Seven Food Products

Seven Food Products is based at Amiko Niwas, which is near the Post Office in Kolathara. Being right by the Cheruvannur High School means we hear the school bell ring several times a day and see the kids walking past in their uniforms. It’s a lively little corner of the neighborhood. The building is called Amiko Niwas and it’s where we do all our food processing and packing. It’s not a huge factory or anything like that, just a local setup. We have a few rooms dedicated to different parts of the process. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other well. We usually have a radio playing in the background while we work to keep things moving. The smell of whatever we are making that day usually drifts out onto the street. Some days are busier than others, especially when we have a big batch to finish before the weekend. We don't have any big signs or posters on the walls. It’s just a clean, functional space where we handle our food products. Being near the post office is handy for when we have to send out mail or documents. We just show up, do the daily tasks, and make sure everything is packed correctly. It’s a simple life and a simple business here in Kolathara. I usually walk home once we lock up the shutters in the evening.
