Our place is at No- 26/196 in the Varangode area, right in Downhill. It is a local spot that a lot of people know just by passing through the neighborhood. We have been working out of this location for a good while. The building isn't anything special, but it serves us well for what we need to do every day. Dealing with food items means we are always busy checking on things and making sure everything is handled right. Downhill can get quite crowded, especially during the peak hours of the day. We get a lot of local traffic coming through Varangode. Most of our work involves moving crates and checking the stock we have on hand. It’s hard work and it keeps us on our feet from early morning until we shut the lights off at night. We don’t use any complicated systems, just old-fashioned lists and a bit of memory. The team at Pks Foods is small, and we mostly just focus on getting things to the people who need them. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Word usually gets around the local area just fine. It’s a practical way to run a business. We enjoy the routine of it, even when things get a bit chaotic with the deliveries. Being in Downhill feels like being in the middle of everything.
