Nh Coconut Processing & Trading

We are set up at 345 Indian Tower Bypass, right by the Lnt Trading Company near Calicut. Being near the bypass means we see a lot of trucks and heavy vehicles all day long. We do both the processing and the trading of coconuts here. The warehouse is a big, open space that stays pretty warm throughout the day. We have piles of coconuts that need to be sorted by size and quality. It’s a lot of work to keep up with the trucks coming in and out. We spend a lot of time on the phone or talking to drivers who are passing through. The dust from the road and the fibers from the coconuts get everywhere. We have a small area where we sit and have our lunch, usually just some simple food we brought from home. The trading side of things is mostly about knowing who needs what and when. We aren't a big corporation with fancy suits, we just wear what’s comfortable for working in a warehouse. Sometimes the weather in Calicut makes everything feel sticky, but we just keep the fans going and get on with the sorting. We’ve got a good system down now after being here for so long. It’s a lot of lifting and counting, and the days go by pretty fast when there are a lot of orders to fill. We just focus on getting the stock moved out so we have room for the next load that comes in tomorrow.
