Mastermade Garments Llp is based at 140/D in The Crest building over in Westhill. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We don’t go in for all those fancy office designs you see on TV. Our space is full of sewing machines, cutting tables, and rolls of cloth. Westhill is a nice spot for us to operate. We spend our mornings checking the latest batches and making sure the quality is what it should be. It’s not always perfect, sometimes a machine jams or a shipment arrives late, but we just deal with it. We aren’t a massive company with thousands of employees. It’s just a small group of us who know how to make garments. We have a routine that we stick to, starting early and usually finishing when the light starts to fade. There’s always something to do, whether it’s sorting buttons or packing up the finished orders into boxes. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the work is done with our hands. People ask us why we don't move to a bigger city, but we like it here at The Crest. It’s got everything we need. We don't make big promises, we just try to get the garments out the door on time. That’s pretty much the whole story. We’re just a bunch of regular people making clothes in Westhill. It’s a living, and it’s something we’re good at after all these years.
