Kadavu Resort

Down here in Kozhikode, we run Kadavu Resort from the Thaikkoottathil House in Kadalundi. It’s a bit of a quiet area compared to the big cities, and that is why we like it. The pin code is 673302 if you are looking for us on a map. We have been here in Kerala for quite some time, and the property has seen a lot of seasons. Managing a resort means there is always something to fix or a room to tidy up. We don't have a big corporate board or anything like that. It’s mostly just us and a few helpers from the local village. The air is different here, and the pace of life is slower. We spend a lot of our time making sure the grounds look okay and the water is running right. Sometimes the rain gets heavy and we have to scurry around to keep everything dry. People come here because they want to see the greenery and get away from the noise. We just provide the space for that. It isn't a five-star flashy place with gold handles, but it is clean and honest. Most of our days are spent talking to guests or checking on the kitchen. It’s a lot of physical work, but being near the water makes it better. We are just local people running a local spot and trying to do a decent job of it.
