Hotel Golden Couch LLP is situated in Narayana Nagaram, right in the Vadakara area of Kozhikode. Our place covers several units from A5 to A14 in building 23/545. It’s a local hotel where we put up people traveling for work or visiting relatives in town. We aren't a five-star luxury place with gold-plated faucets. We are a practical hotel with clean beds and working fans. The name Golden Couch sounded nice to us when we started, so we stuck with it. Most of the people working here are from right here in Vadakara. We know where the best tea is and which shops are open late. Our daily routine involves a lot of laundry and making sure the front desk is covered. It can get pretty hot in Kozhikode, so we spend a lot of time making sure the coolers are working. We don't have a big mission statement or a fancy board of directors. It’s just us trying to run a decent business and pay the bills. We have regular customers who come back every time they are in town because they know what to expect from us. We don't try to be anything we’re not. It’s just a straightforward hotel for regular people. We keep the prices fair and the rooms tidy, and that seems to work for everyone who stays.
