Grand Chaliyar Resorts and Spa LLP is located out here in the Kakkad area of Kozhikode. Our address is at number 356, 13, over in Uchakkavil. It’s a bit of a drive to get out here to Aadampadi Nellikkaparamb, but that is why people seem to like it. It’s quiet. We deal with a lot of people looking for a break from their normal jobs. Since we are near the Chaliyar river, the water and the breeze are a big part of why we are here. We have some spa facilities, but it’s more about relaxing than anything too complicated. The staff here are mostly local guys and girls from around Kozhikode who know the area. We aren't a big chain from some other country. We’re just a local business trying to make a go of it. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow and the cows from the nearby field wander close, but it’s all part of the daily life here. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after the monsoon and making sure the paths are clear. We don't have fancy brochures. Most people find us by asking around or seeing the sign. We just want to provide a place where you can put your feet up and forget about the city for a few days. It's a lot of work to keep a resort going, but we enjoy the company.
