We are out in Thiruvambady, right on the Koodaranji Road. Our place is all about food. We handle the processing and packing of various items that end up in kitchens and shops all around the district. Being in this part of the country means we are very close to where a lot of the raw ingredients actually come from. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, but it's a nice, green area. The facility is usually bustling with activity from early morning. We have people sorting through produce or monitoring the machines that do the heavy work. It’s not a high-tech lab or anything like that. It’s just a working food plant. We get our hands dirty every day. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves on the spot. That is just how it is in this business. We’ve been operating here for a while and the locals in Thiruvambady know us well. We aren't some big multinational brand with fancy offices. We are just B M Foods. We try to make sure everything leaving the door is decent and honest. The air around here usually smells like whatever we are making that day. It is hard work, standing on your feet for hours, but we are all used to it. We just take it one batch at a time and keep moving forward with the production.
