Ajaya Foods (Opc) Private Limited

So we are based out of Kurumkulathil in the Chorottur Po area. It’s a quiet enough spot most days, though things pick up when we’re in the middle of a big batch. Being an OPC means things are handled a bit more personally here. Ajaya Foods (Opc) Private Limited started because we wanted to do something local and food just seemed like the right fit for us. The building is tucked away a bit, so people sometimes miss the turn when they first come to visit. We spend most of our time in the back where the actual work happens. It’s not a big corporate setup, just a few of us making sure everything is handled right. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front of the place pretty hard, so we usually keep the blinds down to stay cool. There’s always a smell of whatever we’re working on in the air, which isn’t bad at all. We have our coffee breaks together and talk about the news or what’s happening in the village. It’s a straightforward life here. We don't have fancy titles or big meetings, we just look at what needs to be done and do it. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit muddy, but we manage. We just wanted a place where we could work and earn a living without all the stress of a big city office. That’s pretty much us.
