If you walk down Mela Moolaveethi in Tenkasi, you’ll find us at number 36. It’s a traditional kind of street, and the atmosphere around here is usually quite lively. Meera Agency has been operating out of this building for a while now. The front of the shop is open to the street, so we get all the sounds of the neighborhood coming inside. Tenkasi is a beautiful place, but we spend most of our time inside these walls dealing with the daily tasks. The walls are a bit old, and the shelves are packed with paperwork and various items we keep in stock. We don't have a big corporate sign, just the name Meera Agency. It feels like a home as much as a business because we spend so many hours here. Sometimes we sit on the steps out front when things are slow and just watch the people go by on their way to the temple or the market. It’s a simple setup with a wooden desk and a few chairs for visitors. We don't use any fancy software or big computers; mostly just notebooks and pens to keep track of what’s going on. It’s a slow-paced way of doing things, but it works for us. We know most of the people who walk past our door, and they know where to find us if they need anything. It’s just how we do things here in Tenkasi, day after day, without much fuss.
