Vishavkarma Mobile

We are just a small shop here on Khai Road in Nayapura. Most days it’s quite busy with people walking past to get to the main market area. I started this place because I know a bit about phones and how they work. Sometimes it gets really dusty inside because of the road work nearby, so we spend a lot of time just wiping down the glass counters. We have all kinds of mobile covers hanging on the walls and some chargers in the boxes behind the seat. People come in mostly when their screens crack or they need a new SIM card. It’s not a fancy place with air conditioning or anything like that. Just a fan in the corner that makes a bit of noise. We sit here from morning until quite late in the evening. There are a few other shops around us selling clothes and snacks, so we usually have tea together in the afternoons when things get a bit slow. It’s just how things go here. If you are walking down Nayapura Khai Road, you’ll see our sign for Vishavkarma Mobile. It’s been there for a while now and the paint is peeling a little on the edges. We try to keep the most common parts in stock so people don’t have to wait too many days for a repair. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just sit outside on the steps and talk to the neighbors. It is a simple life running a mobile shop.
