Ashok Mobile

Ashok Mobile is right there on Chhawani Road. It’s a pretty straightforward place. We have a counter where we do most of the work, like putting on screen guards or helping people with their SIM cards. The road outside is always busy, so there is a constant hum of engines and horns. We’ve been operating from this Chhawani Road spot for a good while now. The shop is filled with various accessories like colorful back covers and different types of chargers. It’s not very big, but we make do with the space we have. Sometimes the shelves look a bit messy because we are constantly moving things around to find what a customer wants. We don’t have a lot of staff, so it’s usually just one or two of us handling everything from sales to minor repairs. People come in with all sorts of phone issues, and we try our best to figure out what’s wrong. It might be a battery that won’t charge or a screen that is cracked. We spend a lot of time looking at small parts under a magnifying glass. It can be tiring on the eyes. When it rains, we have to move some of the displays inside so they don’t get damp. It’s just a regular shop where we do our daily business without making a big deal out of it. Most of our regulars live just a few blocks away and stop by just to say hello.
