Mahalaxmi Mobile Shop

Mahalaxmi Mobile Shop sits right at the start of Rawatbhata Road in the Gumanpura area. It’s a pretty lively intersection and there is always a lot of noise from the bikes and cars passing by. We’ve been at this spot, number 1, for a while. The shop is filled with various mobile cases and chargers because that is what people ask for the most. Sometimes it gets really crowded in the evenings when everyone is heading home from work. We spend a lot of time just talking to folks who have questions about their handsets. It’s not a fancy showroom or anything like that. Just a simple place where we keep the latest models we can get our hands on. My hands are usually busy opening boxes or testing out a new phone for someone. We have a small bench inside for people to sit while they wait. The lighting isn't the best but it works for what we need. We see a lot of students coming in looking for cheap earphones that won't break in a week. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything, especially when new stuff comes out every other month. We just try to stay helpful and keep the shelves stocked. Being on Rawatbhata Road means we don't get much peace and quiet, but that’s just how life is in this part of town. We are just a local mobile shop trying to get through the day.
