Virgi Telecom

Virgi Telecom is situated right by Kota Junction. If you’ve ever been to the station, you know how hectic it can be. We are right in the middle of all that movement. People are always in a hurry here, trying to catch their trains or just arriving and looking for a way to call home. We do a lot of recharges and sell SIM cards. It’s a small space, mostly just a counter and some display racks for phone accessories. We don't have much room for anything else. The sound of the train whistles and the announcements is something we hear all day long. We've gotten used to it. We see thousands of people walk past every day, but only a few stop in. We try to help them as quickly as we can because everyone is on a schedule. Some days it feels like we are more of an information booth than a telecom shop, with people asking for directions or train times. We don’t mind, it’s part of being at the Junction. The shop stays open quite late sometimes depending on the train schedules. It’s a bit of a tiring job being in such a high-traffic area, but it keeps things interesting. We’ve been here long enough to see the station change and grow over the years and we just keep on working.
