Tata Indicom Exclusive Store

Our shop, the Tata Indicom Exclusive Store, sits over on Tehsil Road inside the Soni Enterprises building in Bajrang Nagar. It’s a pretty easy place to find if you know the area. We spend most of the day talking to people who walk in with their devices or questions about their accounts. It can get a bit hectic when three or four people arrive at once, and there is only a small space for them to wait. I try to keep the counters wiped down, but fingerprints get everywhere. The light from the front window is very bright in the morning. We have a few chairs for people to sit on while we look into their issues. It’s mostly just routine work. We check things, talk to the main office if there is a problem, and try to get things sorted out. There is a lot of paper involved sometimes. The road outside is always busy with traffic going toward the center of town. I usually bring my lunch from home and eat it in the back room when there’s a quiet moment. It’s a steady job. We see a lot of regulars from the neighborhood who just need a quick bit of help. We don’t have any big slogans or anything. We just open the door and start working. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to apologize to the people waiting. We stay until the evening rush is finally over.
