Surbhi The Mobile Shop

Nayapura is a busy place to be, and our shop is right in the middle of all that activity. We sell phones and help people with their plans, but mostly we just answer questions about why a device is acting up. The shelves are lined with cases and chargers because everyone seems to lose theirs or break them. I’ve been standing behind this counter for years now, seeing the new models come in every season. It’s a small space, so when four or five people come in at once, it feels very crowded. We keep the radio on most of the day to drown out some of the traffic noise from the main road. Sometimes the internet goes down and we can't do the recharges properly, which makes people annoyed, but we just wait it out. My family helps me run things when I need to step out for lunch or to grab stock from the warehouse. We don’t have a big sign with flashing lights, just a regular board that’s been there since we moved in. The floor is a bit worn down from people walking in and out all day long. It's a local shop through and through. We know the tea seller next door and the people who work at the bank nearby. It’s just a regular part of life here in Nayapura. We don't do anything fancy, just keep the phones and the connections going for the neighborhood as best as we can.
