Sonu Engineering Works

Sonu Engineering Works is tucked away in that little lane right next to the Elabad Bank on Jhalawar Road. It is a narrow gali, so if you are coming with a big vehicle, you have to be pretty careful. We have been in this same little workshop for quite a long time now. The space is always full of different tools, pieces of scrap metal, and whatever machinery we happen to be fixing that day. It looks a bit cluttered to an outsider, but we know exactly where every wrench is kept. Most of our hours are spent at the lathe or with a welding torch in hand. You will usually see us with some grease on our shirts and dirt on our hands. We don't bother with websites or fancy advertising, as most people around here already know us by word of mouth. If something breaks or needs a custom part, people just walk in and ask. The noise from Jhalawar Road is always there, but back here in the alley, it feels a bit more private. We have an old bench outside where we sit and have some tea when there is a break in the work. It is just a small team of us who enjoy working with our hands. We don't make any big claims; we just take the job and try to get it fixed right. It’s a busy, practical life for us, and we stay busy with the repairs that come our way.
