Guru Nanak Engineering Works

We’ve been here at 27 in the Small Scale Industrial Estate for quite some time now. Guru Nanak Engineering Works isn't one of those places with a glass front or a fancy lobby. It is an engineering shop through and through. You’ll find us mostly dealing with the machines and the metal. The estate gets pretty crowded during the day with trucks coming in and out, but we like the energy of it. It’s a practical spot for what we do. We don’t spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of the day is spent on the floor making sure things are running right. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the noise before you see the sign. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the Small Scale Industrial Estate over the years. Some people might find the area a bit dusty or loud, but for us, it feels like where we belong. We keep our tools organized, or at least we try to, and we focus on the work right in front of us. There’s no big corporate ladder here, just a bunch of guys who know their way around engineering. We take our tea breaks together when the heat gets to be too much. That's about the gist of life here at number 27. It's not complicated, just steady work day after day.
