Sagar Mobile Point

Sagar Mobile Point has been in Gumanpura for a while now. It’s just a small shop tucked in among the others. We started out mostly selling top-up cards and small accessories, but now people come in for all sorts of things. Sometimes they just have a question about how their new phone works. We don't mind helping out. The traffic in Gumanpura can be a bit much, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. Our shop isn't very big, so if three people come in at once, it feels crowded. We keep a variety of cases on the wall, though some have been there longer than others. The lights inside are a bit bright, but it helps when you're looking at tiny screws inside a phone. Most days pass by with the sound of motorcycles and people shouting outside. We try to stay organized, but sometimes the workbench gets messy with spare parts and tools. My brother usually handles the repairs while I talk to the customers. We’ve seen a lot of phones come and go over the years. Some are beyond fixing, but we tell people honestly if it’s worth the money or not. There’s no point in lying about it. If you’re around Gumanpura and your phone is acting up, you’ll probably find us open until late. It's just a regular shop doing regular work for the local folks. Sometimes we run out of chai, but we usually have enough for a guest.
