Rose Brook Montessori School

Our school is near the Jama Masjid in Bazar No. 4. If you know Ramganjmandi, you probably know where that is. We are in the Kota district of Rajasthan, zip code 326519. It’s a Montessori school, so it’s mostly for the younger kids who are just starting out. They have their little chairs and tables to sit at. We try to keep things organized but with small kids, it is always a bit messy by the afternoon. There are toys and learning blocks scattered around some of the rooms. The building is tucked away in the market area, so it stays busy around us with shops and people. We open up early to get things ready. The teachers here have a lot of patience. You have to have that when you work with little ones all day long. We don't have a big corporate office or a management team. It is just us running the place. Sometimes the water cooler needs fixing or we need to buy more art supplies. We just handle it as it comes. It is a local spot where people bring their children before they get older and move to big schools. We see a lot of the same faces every day, which is nice. It feels like a small family in a way. The kids learn their letters and numbers and how to share. We just provide the space for that to happen. It is a simple, functional school in the heart of the bazaar.
