Robert Peter High School

If you head down the Main Road in Jawahar Nagar, Kota, you will find Robert Peter High School. We are right there where all the action is. Kota is a city that really cares about education, and being in Jawahar Nagar means we are surrounded by students and teachers all day long. Our school is a high school, so we deal with the older kids who are getting ready for their next big steps. The building faces the main road, so it can get a bit noisy with the horns and the movement outside, but we are used to it by now. The rooms are basic but functional. We have a lot of benches and blackboards that have been around for years. We aren't fancy people. Most of us have worked here in Kota for a long time and we know how the local system works. We don't go for big promotional speeches. We just show up, open the gates, and start the day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to open all the windows to let the breeze in. It is just a part of life in this part of Rajasthan. The students come from all over the local area, and we know many of their families by name. It’s a busy, dusty, and honest place to be every day. We just keep moving forward with the daily schedule and helping out where we can.
