Ram Lal Gas Welding

We have been operating Ram Lal Gas Welding for a long time now. You can find us right in the Small Industrial Estate, specifically in the New Motor Market near Aerodrome Circle. It is a very busy area with a lot of noise from the trucks and the constant clanging of metal. Our shop is not anything fancy to look at. It is basically just a workspace filled with tanks, torches, and piles of iron that need fixing. I spend most of my day wearing my heavy gloves and a mask, just focusing on the sparks. My father taught me how to weld when I was just a young boy, and I have stayed with it ever since. The summer heat here makes the shop feel like an oven, but we just keep the fans going and drink plenty of water. We mostly do repairs on vehicle frames and whatever heavy machinery gets brought in from the nearby factories. Sometimes a guy will come in with a broken bicycle or a gate that needs a quick weld, and we take care of that too. We do not have a secretary or a computer to track things; we just write notes on a pad and get to work. People in the motor market know us as the place that stays open late if there is a big job. It is hard work and my hands are always covered in soot, but it is a good way to make a living and keep the family going. We just do what we can.
