Being near Kota Junction on the Keshavpura Main Road means we see a lot of different people every day. Some are just passing through after getting off a train and realized they forgot their charger or their headphones broke. Our shop is right on the main road, so the noise from the traffic is constant. We have a lot of glass shelves where we keep some second-hand phones and various accessories. The sun shines directly into the shop in the afternoon, which makes it very bright and sometimes a bit hot. We have a small workbench in the back where we do the soldering and the more difficult repairs. It’s often messy with tiny screws and bits of wire everywhere. We try to keep the front part of the shop tidy for the customers. Most people come in for quick things like a new screen guard or to put some money on their mobile plan. We’ve been at this spot for a while now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers on this stretch of Keshavpura Main Road. It’s a busy life, always busy with someone’s broken tech or a phone that won't turn on. We just take it one customer at a time and do the work as it comes. It’s nothing special, just a straightforward place for mobile needs in a busy part of Kota. We keep a box of old parts for when we need to fix something rare.
