Prince Mobile Shop

If you find yourself in Ramganj Mandi, you might have passed by Prince Mobile Shop. We’re right here in the heart of the mandi area in Kota. It’s a small shop, but it’s usually packed with people looking for accessories or trying to get their phones fixed. We do a lot of screen replacements because people are always dropping their devices. It’s a lot of fiddly work with small tools and magnifying glasses. We also sell recharges and SIM cards for the different networks. The shop can get quite crowded, especially on market days when everyone from the surrounding villages comes into town. We have shelves lined with colorful phone cases and various types of headphones. It’s a bit chaotic at times, but we manage to help everyone eventually. I’ve been working here for years and I’ve seen phones change from simple bricks to these fancy glass things everyone carries now. People come to us when they can’t get their internet to work or when their battery won’t hold a charge anymore. We don't use any fancy sales talk. We just tell you if it can be fixed or if it’s time for a new one. It’s a simple business and we like being part of the noise and energy of Ramganj Mandi. You meet all kinds of people every day, which keeps the job from getting boring. We just stay open until the market quietens down in the evening.
