Pragati Public Sr. Sec. School

Pragati Public Sr. Sec. School is located out in Ujjwal Vihar on Baran Road. Being on the edge of the main town gives us a bit more breathing room. The school is a large enough building that houses students from the primary levels all the way up to the senior secondary classes. It’s a busy place with a lot going on at any given time. We have a staff that has been together for a while, and they know the routine inside out. The classrooms are filled with desks and chairs that have seen a lot of use over the years. We don’t worry too much about having the newest gadgets; we just make sure the students have their books and the teachers have their chalk. The grounds are kept as tidy as possible, though with so many kids running around, it’s a constant job. Parents from Ujjwal Vihar and the surrounding areas on Baran Road send their children here because it's convenient and they know what to expect. There are no surprises here. We follow the calendar, hold our exams, and have the usual school events. It’s a very practical operation. We don’t have a fancy website with professional photos. What you see when you walk through the gate is exactly what you get. It’s just a group of people working together to run a school for the local kids.
