Pooja Pan Palace

You can find us right on the National Highway No 12 Main Road. We are in the Bhimpura Industrial Area, near the Dara Station in Cablenagar. Being on a highway means we see a lot of travelers. Pooja Pan Palace is a small stop for people who need a break from driving. The big trucks roar past all day and night. It’s quite loud, but you get used to it after a week or so. We keep the shop stocked with the basics. It’s mostly pan, but we have other small things too. The area around Dara Station is a bit rugged. We have a lot of dust coming off the road, so we are always wiping down the counter. We aren't a big palace like the name might suggest; it’s just a name we liked. We have a few benches outside where people can sit for a minute. The sun can be brutal out here on the highway. We spend a lot of time just watching the horizon for the next car to pull over. It’s a simple existence. We don’t have fancy decorations. Just the essentials for the people passing through Bhimpura. We know the train schedules by heart because the station is so close. It’s a good place to work if you like seeing different people every day. We just stay here and keep the door open. Sometimes the wind blows the sand right inside the shop, and we have to sweep it out again.
