Kaithun is a decent place to have a business like this. I started Nagar Mobile Shop because technology was changing so fast and people needed a place to go. My day starts with unlocking the heavy shutter and sweeping the front. I don't have those fancy neon signs, just a plain board. Inside, I keep a stock of various cables, memory cards, and second-hand handsets. A lot of my customers are farmers or people from the local town who just want a phone that works and doesn't cost too much. I spend a lot of time explaining data plans or helping someone set up their social media. It can be frustrating when the power goes out, which happens more than I'd like. I have a small backup battery for the lights, though. The walls are a bit plain, and the floor is just concrete, but it serves the purpose. I don't try to sell people things they don't need. If a phone is too old to fix, I just tell them straight. Honesty keeps people coming back, I think. When the festival season comes, I get a bit more stock in. Otherwise, I keep things pretty basic. It's just me running the show here, so if I'm out for lunch, the shop stays shut for a bit. That's just the way it has to be when you work alone.
