Mobile World

You can find Mobile World at Jhalawar Road, inside the Deep Shree Parishar at G-12. It’s a busy building and there are always people moving around the corridors. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve been here at G-12 for a while. We sell a lot of different phones, from the basic ones to the newer models people are asking for. The glass counters are usually covered in fingerprints by midday because so many people come in to touch the screens. I try to wipe them down when I get a spare minute. We have a lot of posters on the walls that are starting to peel at the edges. It’s not a high-end boutique, just a place where you can get a phone or get yours fixed. Jhalawar Road is always packed with traffic, so the sound of horns is something we just live with. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise, but it still keeps the place cool enough. I work here with two other guys, and we take turns going out for lunch. We don't use fancy jargon when explaining why a phone isn't working. We just tell you what's broken and how much it costs to swap the part. It’s a straightforward business. We like the regulars who stop by just to see what’s new in the display. It keeps the day interesting at Deep Shree Parishar.
