Mahalakshami Mobile Point

We have been sitting here at number 23 on Gumanpura Road for a long time now. The shop isn't very big, but we manage to fit quite a lot of things inside the glass counters. Most days start around ten in the morning when we roll up the heavy iron shutter. It usually smells like ginger tea because of the small stall right next door. People stop by for all sorts of things. Sometimes they just need a new screen guard because they dropped their phone on the stone pavement. Other times it is more serious, like a battery that won't charge or a software problem that makes the phone act weird. We have a lot of different chargers and earphones hanging on the walls. It can get a bit dusty with the traffic from Rawatbhata Road blowing in all day, so we spend a decent amount of time wiping down the displays. There are two of us working here most of the time. We aren't trying to be some fancy showroom, just a place where you can get your phone sorted out without a lot of fuss. In the evenings, the street gets really crowded and the noise of the horns is constant. We usually stay open until about nine, depending on how many repairs are left to finish on the workbench. It is a simple life, just handling electronics and talking to the regulars who live around here. We keep the basic stuff people actually use every day.
