Laxmi Mobile Point

Laxmi Mobile Point is out on Rawathbhata Road 7. It's a bit away from the main city center but the road stays busy with people traveling through. We mostly spend our time doing phone repairs and selling small things like chargers, earphones, and those memory cards everyone needs. Our shop is quite narrow so we put in a long glass counter that takes up most of the floor space. Behind that counter is where all the actual work happens with the soldering irons and those big magnifying glasses. We see a lot of cracked screens because people are always dropping their phones on the hard pavement outside. It takes a lot of patience to take these devices apart without making things worse. The walls have rows of colorful mobile cases and we try to keep them organized, though it’s hard when people are always picking them up to look at them. We also have a small area where people can pay their monthly bills or get a new SIM card if they need one. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, so we have to pull the orange awning down to stay cool. There’s a small radio in the corner that we keep on for some background noise while we work on the circuits. We aren't a big showroom with flashy lights, just a place where you can get a phone fixed or buy a cable. The neighborhood is mostly quiet compared to the main markets.
