Kush Kumar & Co

Kush Kumar & Co is right on Gumanpura Road, near the Aerodrome Circle and directly across from the Bank of India. It’s a very easy spot to find if you’re in this part of town. Our office isn’t very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There are desks pushed against the walls and stacks of ledgers and files everywhere you look. We spend most of our time dealing with numbers and talking to clients who come in to settle their accounts or ask about some services. Since we are right across from the bank, we see people coming and going all day long, which makes the street feel very lively. We have a small bench inside for people to sit on while they wait, though it’s usually covered in newspapers or mail. The air conditioner hums in the corner, but it doesn't always keep up with the heat when the sun is hitting the front window. We aren't into anything fancy or corporate. We just use plain pens and paper and try to keep our records straight. Most of our clients have been coming to us for years, so we usually spend the first ten minutes just catching up on family news before we get down to any business. It’s a relaxed atmosphere, even when we have a lot of work to get through. We just take it one day at a time.
