Our office is over in Talwandi. It’s a place where we spend most of our time looking at papers and handling the daily tasks that come with being an established firm here. The area is pretty familiar to anyone who lives nearby, with its own rhythm of people coming and going. We’ve been set up in this spot for a good while, so the walls have seen plenty of files and different projects over the years. It’s not a flashy place, just a regular work environment with desks, some old filing cabinets, and a kettle that’s almost always on for tea. Sometimes the noise from the street comes in through the window, but we’re used to it. We don’t really go in for big meetings or long speeches about what we do. People just walk in, we talk about what needs to be handled, and then we get to work. It’s a practical way to run things. The desks are usually covered in folders and notes because there’s always something to be sorted out. We like the fact that we’re right here in the middle of Talwandi where it’s easy for people to drop by. It’s a straightforward operation. We show up in the morning, do the filing, talk to the clients who come in, and close up when the sun starts to go down. There isn't much more to it than that, just staying busy and keeping the paperwork organized.
