Kitty Bags

Kitty Bags is tucked away in Rampura Bazar. This market is always loud and full of life. Our shop is just one of many, so we try to hang our best bags outside on the doorframe to get people to look. We have a lot of colorful things. There are bright pink purses, floral backpacks, and some shiny clutches for parties. The name "Kitty Bags" comes from the fact that we started with mostly kids' stuff, but now we have things for everyone. The space inside is quite cramped. You have to watch your step because boxes of new inventory are often sitting on the floor waiting to be unpacked. We don't have a computer system. We write all the sales down in a thick ledger book with a ballpoint pen. Sometimes we lose the pen and have to hunt for it under the counter. It’s a bit chaotic, but that’s just how it is in the bazaar. We know the other shopkeepers around here, and we often share lunch or tea. If you need a bag that's cheap and looks good, this is where you'd come. We don't have a lot of fancy talk. We just show you what we have and tell you the price. If it rains, the roof leaks a little in the far corner, so we move the stock away. It’s just how things are here.
