Khalsa Mobile

Running Khalsa Mobile keeps us on our toes because we are located right on the Kota Junction Main Road. Being near the station means there is a constant stream of people coming and going at all hours. Some are just passing through and need a quick charger because they left theirs on a train, while others are locals who have been coming to us for years. The noise from the trains and the traffic outside never really stops, so you just get used to talking a bit louder. We spend most of our time looking at small screens and trying to fix buttons or speakers that have stopped working. It is a small shop, so it gets crowded pretty fast when three or four people walk in at the same time. There are always phone cases hanging on the walls and wires tangled up on the counter that we have to straighten out every morning. Working here at Kota Junction, you see all sorts of people. Some are in a huge rush to catch a bus or a train, and others just want to sit and talk about which phone is better. We don’t have any fancy sales pitch or a polished showroom. It is just a regular mobile shop where we do our best to help whoever walks in with a broken screen or a dead battery. It’s a busy life on the main road, and we just keep the doors open for everyone.
