I run Kartik Mobile Shop out here in Kaithun. It’s not a huge place, just a room with some glass counters and a workbench in the back. I mostly do mobile recharges and fix small problems with people's phones. If your screen is broken or the battery isn't holding a charge, I can usually take a look at it and tell you the cost. I keep a few basic models of phones for sale, mostly the simple ones that are hard to break. I also have plenty of screen protectors and colorful cases for people to choose from. People around here know me, so they just drop their phone off and go do their shopping in the market, then come back later to pick it up. I’ve got my soldering iron and all my tools set up on a small desk. It’s quiet work, which I like. Sometimes the kids come in asking for the latest games or to get their internet settings fixed so they can use their apps. I try to help everyone out as best as I can. The shop stays open late because that’s when most people are finished with their work and have time to come by. I don't have a fancy website or anything like that. I just rely on people telling their friends that I did a good job fixing their device. It's a steady life and I'm happy with it. The fan keeps me cool while I'm working.
