Our shop is right at the Nayapura Jakolon Chouraha, which is a very noisy place to be all day. You can see the traffic lights from the front door and hear the horns constantly. We sell a lot of recharge vouchers and SIM cards to people passing through the intersection. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every inch of the wall for hanging earphones and cables. We keep a small stool behind the counter, but I'm usually standing up to talk to customers. People come in looking for a quick fix or just a screen protector for their new mobile. It’s funny how everyone is so worried about their screens these days. We have a lot of regular faces who stop by just to ask about the latest models even if they aren't buying anything. I keep the glass cabinets as organized as I can, but with so many small items, it gets messy by the end of the day. The light from the street makes the shop look different depending on the time. In the evening, the neon signs from nearby shops reflect on our windows. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture or air conditioning that works perfectly. It’s just a practical spot at a busy crossroads. We focus on getting people what they need so they can get back to their commute. It’s just how things are at Jakolon Chouraha.
