Jaynt Foods

Jaynt Foods is situated at Plot No. B-66 on Jhalawar Road, right in the middle of the Seth Bhamashah Mandi area. Because we are in the mandi, the whole place is constantly buzzing with tractors and trucks carrying produce. We handle food products here, mostly grains and pulses that come in from the local farms. The building is more like a warehouse than a shop, with high ceilings and big doors to let the air in. It gets very loud during the peak harvest season when everyone is trying to sell their crops at once. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the grains and making sure they are stored properly so they don't spoil. The office is just a tiny room partitioned off in the corner where the ledger stays. There are always a few bags of samples sitting on the floor waiting to be inspected. It is dirty work, and by the end of the day, our clothes are usually covered in dust from the grain. We have a small crew of workers who help with the loading and unloading. We don't do much advertising; people in the mandi know where we are. It is a tough business because the prices of food change every single day. We just try to keep up with the market and make sure the bags are weighed correctly before they leave.
