Jangid Saras Booth

Jangid Saras Booth is located at Chota Cauraha in Dadabadi, Kota. We are right opposite Central Academy School. Our day starts very early, usually before the sun is even up, because the milk van arrives at 5 AM. We have to unload the crates and get the packets ready for the people who come by before work. We also keep bread, eggs, and some basic dairy items. The shop is small, mostly just a booth really, so there isn't much room to walk around inside. Most of the work happens through the window. Since we are near the school, we get a lot of kids buying small milk cartons or snacks during their breaks. My son helps me out during the weekends when the demand is higher. Sometimes the crates are heavy and my back hurts by the afternoon. We don't have any big signs or advertisements. People just know the Saras booth is here. We have a small bench outside where some old men sit and talk in the morning. It’s a simple business. We deal with the dairy company every day and make sure the fridge is working right so nothing spoils in the Rajasthan heat. It's a lot of keeping track of empty crates and counting loose change. We just do our job and go home once the stock is finished. It is a long day but we are used to the early hours now.
