Ishika Cell Point

Working at Gumanpura Pole Tower 9 means dealing with a lot of different people every day. Our shop, Ishika Cell Point, is focused on mobile phones and the various gadgets that go with them. It is a small unit, but we have managed to fit a good amount of stock inside the glass displays. Most of the day is spent answering questions about battery life or why a certain app isn't working right. We do some basic repairs here too, mostly swapping out screens or fixing charging ports that have gone bad. I have a small set of screwdrivers and tweezers that stay on the blue mat on my desk. The lighting in the tower is a bit dim, so we have some extra lamps to see the small parts better. Gumanpura is a busy area, so there is always someone coming in with a broken device. We don't try to act like a big corporate store. We are just a local spot where you can get your phone looked at without a lot of fuss. Sometimes we don't have the answer right away, and we have to look things up or ask around to find a solution. That’s just the reality of technology. We keep some used phones for sale too, for people who don't want to spend too much on a brand-new one. It’s a steady job and we like the rhythm of the city around us.
