Hamja Mobile Shop

If you walk down Gumanpura Road near where it meets Rawatbhata Road you will find our little shop. Hamja Mobile Shop is not very big but we stay busy with all sorts of things. There are always people coming in because they dropped their phone and the screen broke or they just need a cheap plastic cover. The shop is filled with boxes and chargers hanging all over the walls. It gets a bit cramped when more than a couple of people are inside at the same time. We spend a lot of our day looking at tiny screws and small parts under a bright lamp on the desk. It can be hard on the eyes after a few hours. Gumanpura Road is always crowded with bikes and cars so it is very noisy right outside our door. We do not have a big team of people, just a couple of us working here every day. Sometimes we are just sitting and waiting for someone to come in for a quick mobile recharge. We talk about the new phone models sometimes but mostly we just fix whatever people bring to us. It is a practical business and we do not have a big glowing sign. We have been here near Rawatbhata Road for a while and people know we are honest. If a phone is too broken to fix we just tell them straight. We close up when the street lights are on.
