About Gayatri Pan Palace – Food & Beverages in Kota
Living and working near the Nayapura Puliya means you are always in the middle of everything. Gayatri Pan Palace is right by the Bas Stand in Kaithun, so there is never a quiet moment. The buses are always pulling in and out, kicking up dust and making a lot of noise. We open up early because that’s when the first travelers start moving. Our shop is just a small corner where we keep our supplies tucked away. We spend a lot of time just watching the crowds of people waiting for their ride. Some people are in a huge rush and barely say a word, while others have time to kill and will tell us their whole life story while they wait. We don’t have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s just us, some jars of supari, and a couple of stools that are usually wobbly. The heat can be tough during the summer months, but we have a small fan that helps a little. We try to keep the area clean, but with so many people passing through the bus stand, it is a constant battle. We like being in the center of the action, though. It makes the day go by fast. We don't think much about the future or anything big, we just focus on getting through the day and making sure the shop is ready for tomorrow morning.
