Deepak Mobile

Deepak Mobile is located at number 369 in Mahaveer Nagar 1st, near the Opera area. It’s a residential part of town, so we get a lot of families and students who live in the hostels nearby. The shop is tucked away a bit but people know where we are. I’ve lived in Mahaveer Nagar-Ll for a long time, so I know most of the neighbors. I decided to open this shop because I liked tinkering with gadgets since I was a kid. Now I spend my days fixing cracked screens and trying to figure out why someone’s battery won't last more than an hour. The shelves are full of colorful cases and different types of headphones hanging from hooks. It gets quite busy in the evenings when everyone is out for a walk or coming back from work. I usually have a helper with me to handle the small sales while I focus on the soldering iron at the back. We don't use any big computers for the accounts, just a simple notebook where I write down what was sold and who owes what. It’s a small, honest shop and we try to do things properly. The street outside can get a bit crowded with parked scooters, but that’s just how it is in this part of Kota. I often sit outside for a few minutes when it gets quiet just to breathe some fresh air before the next person comes in with a broken screen.
