Chambal Zerox & Mobile

Our little shop sits right by the Tallapura Batti Circle Road in the Bala Kund 3 area. It is a place where people come when they need to get papers copied or if their phone is acting up. We have a couple of photocopy machines that run for most of the day. They make a lot of heat and that constant humming sound, which you just get used to after a while. Besides the xerox work, we also look at mobile phones. People bring in phones with cracked screens or batteries that won't charge anymore. We have a small glass counter where we keep some chargers, earphones, and basic phone covers. The circle outside is always full of traffic, so there is a lot of honking and noise coming in through the door. It is a small space, so things can get a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting for their copies at the same time. We try to work fast so nobody has to stand around too long in the heat. It’s mostly students from the nearby areas or people who need documents for government work. We don't have any big signs, just the usual boards. It’s a simple setup meant to help folks with their daily digital tasks. We just keep our heads down and work through the stack of papers or the pile of phones that need fixing every single day. We keep a big water jug in the corner for anyone who is thirsty because the afternoons get really dry and hot in this part of town.
