Badra Mobile

Badra Mobile has been sitting in Ramganj Mandi for quite some time now. We are right in the middle of the local market area, so it stays pretty loud outside. Most days, I am busy behind the counter dealing with people who dropped their phones or need a new SIM card. The shop is small and the shelves are packed with boxes for different mobile models. It isn’t the tidiest place, but I know exactly where everything is located. If you ask for a specific cable, I can usually find it in a few seconds. Ramganj Mandi is a place where everyone knows everyone else, so we end up talking about the weather or local news more than the actual phones. Sometimes the tea guy from next door comes over and we take a break. I don't really bother with big advertisements or shiny signs. People just find us because they know we've been here. The stools for customers are a bit old and they creak when you sit on them. I keep a fan running all day because it gets really hot in the afternoons. We handle a lot of recharges and small fixes that don’t take much time. It's just a basic shop meant for people who live and work around the Mandi. We don't try to be anything more than that. Just a regular business doing its thing every day. It gets dusty but that is just part of it.
