Apna Recharge On Line

We are set up near the DAV School in the IPIA area of Talwandi. It's a spot where students and people working nearby often pass through throughout the day. The main thing we do here is help people with their phone recharges and various online payments. It sounds simple, but with so many different plans and internet packs, people often get confused and just want someone to handle the clicks for them. We sit at the desk most of the day, working on the computer or the mobile phone to get things processed. Sometimes the internet is slow or the server goes down, which makes things a bit difficult, but we wait it out. The shop is small and doesn't have much in the way of decoration. Just a place to sit and some papers on the walls. We see a lot of students from school number 44 coming in when they run out of data or need something printed. It gets quite hectic during the afternoons when classes let out. We don’t really have a big staff, so if a lot of people show up at once, there might be a short wait for everyone. We try to get through the queue as fast as we can. Living and working in Talwandi means we are part of the daily hustle here. We just do our bit to keep people connected and go home when the sun goes down and we close up.
