Amit Tools & Hardware

Our shop, Amit Tools & Hardware, is located at 557 Chhawani Road, right on the main stretch there. It’s a busy part of the street, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We sell a lot of different things, from basic nails and screws to bigger power tools that take up a lot of room on the floor. The shop can feel a bit crowded when we get a big delivery, but we try to keep a path clear for customers to walk through. We aren't big on decorations or anything like that. The walls are just lined with shelves that we’ve put up ourselves over time. Most of the people who come in are regulars from around the neighborhood who are working on their houses or fixing up a shop nearby. We spend a lot of time just chatting with them about what they’re building. It’s a dirty job sometimes, especially when we’re moving around bags of cement or heavy metal parts, but we don't mind getting our hands a bit messy. The main road is always loud, but it brings in a lot of people who just happen to be passing by. We keep the doors open to let in a bit of a breeze, even if it brings in the dust too. It’s just a normal hardware store where we try to keep the things people need in stock for their daily work.
