Aman Mobile Repairing Shop

The shop on Rangpur Road in Chhabra is pretty small, but it fits everything I need. I spend my days hunched over a workbench with a magnifying glass. People drop off their phones because they dropped them on the pavement or spilled water on them. I try my best to fix what I can. Sometimes parts take a few days to arrive from the bigger city, and the customers keep calling to check if it’s done. It can be a bit stressful when the shop gets crowded and everyone wants their phone back right away. I’ve got drawers full of old screws and spare screens that I’ve saved over the years. You never know when a weird part might come in handy. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people shouting, but I stay focused on the tiny wires. I usually have a fan going because it gets stuffy in the back. My tea gets cold sitting on the edge of the table while I’m working. I don’t have a big sign or anything, just the shop name on the shutter. It’s a simple life. I’ve learned most of what I know just by taking things apart and putting them back together again. It’s not always easy but I like the feeling when a phone finally vibrates and turns back on for someone.
