Aggrawal Trading Company

Aggrawal Trading Company is located right in the heart of Gumanpura. We’ve been operating from this same spot for a long time. Our main focus is just getting supplies in and out to the local shops and people who need them. It’s not a quiet place. There are always sacks or boxes being moved around, and the floor is usually covered in some kind of dust from the packing. We deal with a lot of different items depending on the season and what people are asking for. Gumanpura is a hectic place to do business, but we are used to it by now. The office is just a desk in the corner with a lot of ledgers and old papers piled up. We don't use computers for everything because the old way still works for us. Most of our customers are people we've known for twenty years. They come in, sit for a bit, have some water, and tell us what they need for their own shops. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and carrying, but it keeps us moving. We don't have any fancy displays or advertisements. People know where we are. If you walk down the main lane in Gumanpura, you’ll see our shutters up early in the morning. Sometimes we close a bit early if the heat is too bad or if we ran out of stock. It's a simple operation, really. We just try to get the work done before the sun goes down.
