Our place, Stone Axe Granites And Crushers Privatelimited, is located over in Rohinikakkodu, near Punalur. It’s a granite and crushing site, so it’s usually quite loud and dusty throughout the day. We’ve been operating out of this P.O. box area for some time now. Punalur is where most of our local staff comes from. We don’t have a big marketing department or a fancy lobby for guests. Mostly, you’ll just see the machinery and the stone piles when you walk in. The work is tough, and we spend a lot of time outdoors or in the sheds. We handle the crushing mostly. People in the area know us as the local granite spot. It’s not the kind of place where people wear suits. We wear boots and work clothes because that’s what the job needs. The weather in Punalur can be a bit hit or miss, which sometimes affects how much we can crush in a day. We keep our records in the main office near the entrance. It’s a practical building, built for work and not for show. We have a few trucks coming in and out regularly. We just focus on getting the stone ready. There isn't much to say about our history other than we've been here working for a good while. We don't use big words to describe what we do.
