Premium Granites

We are right at Kurrpally Junction in Po Alamood. Our place is called Premium Granites. If you know the junction, you’ve probably seen us. It’s a good spot because everyone passes through here. We have a lot of granite slabs stacked up. They come in different thicknesses and finishes. Some are polished and some are raw. It’s a messy business, to be honest. There’s always water and stone dust everywhere. We spend our days showing people the patterns in the granite. No two pieces are exactly the same, which is what makes it interesting. Sometimes a customer will spend half a day just looking for the right grain for their kitchen. We just let them take their time. Moving the granite requires a lot of care so it doesn't crack. We have a small crane to help with the heavy lifting. The guys working here have been with me for a few years, so they know what they’re doing. Alamood is a decent place to work. It’s not too far from the main city but quiet enough at night. We usually close up when the sun goes down. Most of our business comes from word of mouth. People tell their neighbors where they got their stone, and then they show up here looking for the same thing. That’s how we’ve always done it.
